On January 1, 2025, the EARTHONE project—Environmental Analysis and Resilience for Transformative Human-Optimised Natural Environments—officially commenced, aiming to enhance Europe’s natural greenhouse gas sinks and promote sustainable land-use practices. The kick-off meeting was held on January 22–23, 2025, at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across Europe.
