Dynamical downscaling of EC-Earth3-Veg over the EURO-CORDEX domain with WRF: A contribution to CORDEX-CORE Phase II
This poster presents ongoing work on the dynamical downscaling of the EC-Earth3-Veg CMIP6 model over the EURO-CORDEX domain using WRF, as part of CORDEX-CORE Phase II. It outlines the model setup, experimental configuration, and expected contribution to high-resolution regional climate simulations for the Euro-Mediterranean region covering 1950–2100.
Presented at the EGU General Assembly 2026, 3–8 May 2026.
Episode #2 Living Labs in action for climate adaptation and biodiversity.
In the second episode, we speak with representatives of the Slovenian, Croatian, and Spanish Living Labs. The conversation explores how different Mediterranean landscapes, from karst forests and floodplain pastures to agroforestry systems and wetlands, are responding to climate change and biodiversity challenges. The episode highlights practical approaches to adaptation and mitigation, soil biodiversity monitoring, and how research data can support land managers and policymakers.
